Wordpress widgets often work perfectly straight “out of the box” so to speak. However, there are a few that need to be set up properly.

If your new Wordpress widgets do not work immediately:

  1. Log into your website with the username and password.
  2. Click the Site Admin link.
  3. From your Dashboard, click the Plugins link to display a list of available Plugins.
  4. Locate the Plugin you wish to activate and click the Activate link.
  5. The Widget is now available for use. (Click here to read more about Widget management.)

Be sure to follow the programmer’s instructions closely! Sometimes what may seem to be a serious issue is a quick fix!
